Fir Bank was looking for a company to work with to produce a new primary school website, they also needed a new prospectus and wanted a nice bank of images to use on both. Our Enhanced Primary School Website Package was perfect for them as it included all this and more. The starting point was to audit their old website to identify any gaps in compliance with Ofsted and the DfE. Once this was completed we agreed the structure of the new site ensuring it filled all those gaps and provided a good visitor experience.
The next stage was the design, they wanted a vibrant home page which reflected the school’s core values with clear signposting to key areas of the website. As a primary school website, they also wanted it to be child-friendly so we used a fun font making it less formal.
In addition to the prospectus, we came into school and did a photo shoot so we had a strong bank of images for the school to use. we also produced a new school prospectus which is available digitally as a flicker book to help them cut down on print costs.
We came into school to train the staff to use the updating system which again is all included in our Enhance Primary Website Package.
