They wanted purposeful, curriculum-led maths classroom wall art installed across their schools, graphics that would actively support teaching, raise aspirations and create a more inspiring learning environment.
Working closely with the Trust’s Director of Education and maths subject leaders, we developed a cohesive approach to educational wall art that balanced academic precision with impactful design.

The Brief
Star Academies had committed to installing curriculum walls in every classroom across the Trust. For mathematics departments, the objectives were clear:
- Embed key GCSE theorems and formulae directly into the classroom environment
- Create a maths timeline charting significant discoveries and mathematicians
- Showcase careers in maths to broaden student aspirations
- Ensure visual consistency across all sites
- Reduce teacher workload associated with maintaining classroom displays
A key driver behind the project was efficiency. Teachers were spending valuable time updating paper displays, replacing faded posters and maintaining noticeboards. Charting discoveries from ancient civilisations through to modern computational breakthroughs, the timeline contextualised mathematical development and reinforced subject depth. - Careers in Maths Feature
By highlighting pathways into engineering, data science, architecture, finance and technology, the wall graphics connected classroom learning to future opportunity.
This blend of knowledge reinforcement and aspiration elevated the project beyond traditional secondary school wall art.
