Admissions
Before application all parents are given the opportunity to visit the school. We hold two Open Days each
year. Parents are welcomed and shown around the school by the Headteacher or Deputy. The school
admissions number is 60 pupils per year.
Dudley Admissions Policy
As part of Dudley Local Authority, Howley Grange Primary School follows the Dudley Admissions Policy. All preferences,

Safeguarding
The health, safety and well-being of every child in our care is of paramount importance. Legislation requires us to make
arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. All members of staff have responsibility for child protection,
have been trained accordingly and have a duty to pass on information which gives rise to a concern about a child’s welfare.
Behaviour and Expectations
Our philosophy is to foster mutual respect for individuals, together with care and respect for the
environment in which all members of the school community work and play. We endeavour
to ensure that children are able to make informed choices and know the difference
between right and wrong. This requires an understanding of and a commitment to a
consistency of approach, which ensures that expectations of what is acceptable
behaviour are clear to pupils, parents and all adults working within the school.
