Children are admitted to Nursery the term after
their 3rd birthday. Application forms for Nursery
places can be collected from the School Office.
Royd Nursery Infant School is a Community
School. Main School has 6 classrooms, an ICT
room, a teachers’ work room, a library, a Meeting
Room and separate dining room. The outdoor
space allows us to have a separate playground
for the Reception children.
Parents are always welcome to look around
Nursery and School but it is advisable to make
an appointment.
Children beginning School make several visits to
meet the staff and other children. The Reception
teachers spend time in the Nursery or other
settings to become acquainted with the children.
There are always meetings for parents to let you
know what is happening.

Opening Times
Morning Nursery
9.00am – 12 o’clock
Afternoon Nursery
12.15pm – 3.00pm
All day Nursery
9.00am – 3.00pm
School Children
The doors open at 8.40am.
Lunch time is from 12 o’clock to 1.10pm
End of the School day is 3.15pm
