At KS2 (juniors) the emphasis is on further
embedding basic skills of literacy and numeracy,
developing children’s mastery in these core
areas and applying fundamental skills for
learning. This is delivered via formal teaching
and learning opportunities, independent learning
opportunities and child led learning. Expectations
of children are high, supported by outstanding
teaching and children’s love of learning and
independence, resilience and creativity.
