The School Day
We open the doors for children to come into school
at 8.50am, this is 5minutes before the official start of
the school day. Registration takes place at 8.55am. Any
late comersmust enter the building through themain
reception and be signed in by office staff.
Your child is expected to attend school on a regular basis,
and be on time to help themget the best out of their
school day. This is very important as absence and lateness
affects learning. If your child is ill and unable to attend
school please contact us on the first day of illness. If we
do not hear fromyou then the school will call to check
why your child is absent. This helps to ensure the safety
of our pupils.
‘I think Becket Primary provides
a good start to a child’s
education. I have an older child
who attended Becket and is
doing very well’.
